Without lastmod, crawlers cannot distinguish recently updated pages from stale ones, reducing the likelihood of timely reindexing after content updates.

Business consequence: When Copient.ai updates product pages or publishes new AI role-play training content, crawlers have no signal to prioritize recrawling — competitors who provide modification timestamps get their updates indexed faster.

Recommended fix: Configure the CMS (appears to be Webflow) to populate lastmod timestamps in the sitemap automatically based on page modification dates. Add priority values for commercially important pages (product, vertical landing pages = 0.8–1.0; blog posts = 0.5–0.7).

Why it matters: Multiple H1 tags dilute the primary topic signal that LLMs use to classify and index page content. When a page has 10 H1s, no single heading clearly identifies the page's main subject, making it harder for AI models to extract and cite the most relevant passage for a given query.

Business consequence: Queries like "AI role-play for sales training" or "healthcare simulation platform" may cite competitors with clearer page topic signals when Copient's pages have 8–10 competing headings diluting the primary subject.

Recommended fix: Audit all pages and ensure each has exactly one H1 tag representing the page's primary topic. Demote remaining headings to H2 or H3 as appropriate. This is likely a Webflow template issue where section headings are styled as H1 for visual size rather than semantic structure.

Recommended fix: Add visible publication dates and author names to all blog posts. Use structured date markup (schema.org datePublished). Implement a content refresh cadence — republish with updated dates when content is reviewed and current.

🔵 Schema Markup, Meta Tags, and CSR Status Require Manual Verification

What we found: Our analysis method (rendered markdown extraction) cannot assess JSON-LD schema markup, meta descriptions, Open Graph tags, canonical URLs, or client-side rendering behavior. These signals are critical for AI visibility but are not visible in the rendered output.

Why it matters: Schema markup helps AI models understand page type and content structure. Meta descriptions influence how AI models summarize pages. CSR-heavy pages may not render for crawlers that don't execute JavaScript.

Business consequence: If commercial pages rely on client-side rendering, AI crawlers that don't execute JavaScript will see empty content for queries like "AI conversation simulation platform comparison," giving competitors with server-rendered pages a structural advantage.

Recommended fix: Run the site through Google's Rich Results Test or Schema.org validator to verify structured data. Check meta descriptions and OG tags using browser DevTools. It allows deliberate decisions about which crawlers to allow, blocks utility pages from being indexed, and references the sitemap location.

Business consequence: Without a robots.txt, utility pages (thank-you forms, download confirmations) may be indexed alongside commercial content, potentially diluting Copient.ai's topical authority in AI role-play training queries.
